What is The Policy Olympiad?The Policy Olympiad is a global social science competition for high school students between the ages of 14-18.

Who is eligible to participate?To apply, you must be aged 14-18 and currently enrolled at a secondary education institution.

What are the prizes associated with each award?Specific awards for finalists will be announced after registration ends.

Why I am having troubles at payment stage of registration?Please ensure you are using the Google Chrome browser and have cleared all cookies/cache. After doing so, try your payment again. It should now go through without any issues.

Will I receive a score and marked rubric after first round submissions?No. Unfortunately we will not be providing scores, marked judging rubrics, or written comments for first round submissions as we do not have the capacity to provide this to everyone due to the immense amount of submissions.

Is there any financial aid?Yes, if you need help paying for the Policy Olympiad, send us an email and let us know, and we will help.

Do I need to study social science to participate?No! We encourage all majors to participate in the Policy Olympiad as it will help you see if you can take a university level humanities course (which are required for all degrees).
